Emergency Response Drill
20 November 2025
What do I need to know?
On Thursday, November 20th, the Davis County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring the Shake, Rattle, and Roll drill for county personnel, and is inviting local communities to test their ability to contact each household in their neighborhood.
Residents of Davis County are invited to participate in the Shake, Rattle, and Roll drill; their community drill, or both. More information about and registration for the Shake, Rattle, Roll drill can be found here.
Locally, we will be testing our ability to contact each household in our neighborhood between 10am and 6pm that day. You will receive a text from a community point of contact at some point during this time.
You should have received a flyer on your door with instructions and a door hanger. Kaysville Fire, Police, and Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be looking for the door hangers in the event of a real emergency to determine who needs assistance.
What do I need to do?
Respond to the text you receive from the community point of contact. That’s it!
(Optional) Place the door hanger you received on your front door, or the door most-easily seen from the street. It does not matter if you use the green or red side of the door hanger.
