In his recent article titled “Find Joy in Your Gospel Journey,” Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles reminds us of the blessings that come from keeping the commandments:

“There is a reward for loving the Lord and keeping His commandments. In this dispensation He described ‘a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven…, upon which all blessings are predicated. And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated’ (Doctrine and Covenants 130:20–21). Thus, the ultimate outcome of showing our love for the Lord by keeping His commandments is blessings that bring happiness and joy.”

We are truly blessed to have a loving Savior who offers such beautiful promises to those who follow Him. May we all continue to look to Him with faith and love in our hearts.
